I would like to personally thank everyone who came out and supported SSIS through the 3rd annual Oktoberfest that took place on September 29, 2012. It was the perfect autumn evening to celebrate all the success that Small Steps in Speech has achieved thus far with over 200 people in attendance!

We were honored to have local organizations and special guests available who have piloted their own fundraiser for SSIS all together in one room to provide the recognization they deserve. We surpassed the amount of money raised from last year’s event, which as a growing organization is always our goal. The basket raffle items were a key to the amount of money raised in addition to our silent auction items,  so thank you to everyone who donated an item to auction off.

I would like to thank our sponsors who helped financially support the evening: The Lowenberger Family, 1st Colonial Bank of Collingswood, Quake Lacrosse, Main Street Reality of Collingswood, The Arc of Atlantic County, Muller, Inc., Wegmans (Cherry Hill), Wawa (Store number 777- Cherry Hill), Traino’s Wine & Spirits, Pisker’s Bakery, Barb Charney, South Jersey Soft Pretzel, Inc., Anne Piarulli, and Krogh’s Restaurant. I would also like to give a special thank you to John from JT’s Rockin Entertainment who donated his time and talent to SSIS who provided the entertainment for the evening.
