THANK YOU for your interest in applying for a grant from Small Steps in Speech!

Since 2013, Small Steps in Speech (SSIS) has been honored to partner with Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA) to award grants for speech therapy to families of children with apraxia. Thanks to our partnership with CASANA we have awarded over $340,000 to families across the country. Inspired by the good work of Small Steps in Speech, CASANA will assume the entire grant application and management process beginning immediately.
SSIS would like to extend a huge thank you to CASANA for helping us help so many children.  In this season of thanks, we are grateful for the opportunity of CASANA and SSIS to have worked hand in hand fulfilling the mission of each organization.

A message from Angela Grimm, Executive Director of The Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA)

On behalf of our Board of Directors, our staff and those that we serve, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Small Steps in Speech for all of their work over the years to help our organization facilitate speech therapy grants to families in need.  We are so appreciative of Small Steps in Speech for helping CASANA deliver these grants to help support the much-needed intensive therapy services for children with CAS.
CASANA is committed to the continuation of providing grants to families and look forward to continuing this service in the years to come.  We are excited that in 2018 CASANA will be able to bring the grant process in-house.  Grant applications will be available on our website in January.  If you are interested in applying for a Speech Therapy grant, we would ask you to visit our site after the New Year at
