On November 7, 2009, Chris Schulz formulated the "Try for Speech Rugby Tournament" in memory of Marc. Chris attends college in Millersville University in Pennsylvania where the event was held. The tournament seemed like a great place to honor Marc considering Marc also attended Millersville University. The tournament was well planned, organized and a success to continue to finance children with speech and language delays/disabilities. The Small Steps in Speech foundation is appreciative to all of those who host events for our organization. Thank you Chris Schulz!

Methacton High School in Pennsylvania held an Alumni soccer game with the proceeds going towards Small Steps in Speech.  Despite the rainy weather, many of Marc's high school teammates came from all areas as far as Florida to play in the alumni game.  There was a male and female alumni game honoring the Small Steps in Speech organization.  The Methacton School District continues to demonstrate their pride in Marc and remembering his spirit through on going donations made to Small Steps in Speech.

The "On Your Marc" 5K run/walk was held on August 1, 2009 at the Eagleville Park in Lower Providence Township Pennsylvania. The event was a huge success for the organization with close to 600 participants and over 50 volunteers. The "On Your Marc" 5K run/walk is going to be a yearly event which will take place on the first Saturday of the month in August.  Stay tuned for registering for next year's event!

Fred Santoro's Prostate Charity Event honored Marc J Small through a Golf Tournament and donated money towards Small Steps in Speech.
